The New 7 Wonders Of The World

The Seven Wonders of the World is traditionally a widely-known list of 7 remarkable manmade constructions of classical antiquity. Yet traditions are both changing and modernizing. The New7Wonders Organization has concluded on 7 new official wonders of the world that will represent global heritage throughout history.Given that the world is full of wondrous features, I’d imagine it would be a remarkable task in itself to simply finalise them down to a concluding 7.  I mean to someone the 7 wonders of the world could very well be …

1: That single stand alone sturdy wooden bench in the heart of the park affording sweeping views of the city.
2: That tiny hole-in-the-wall café cut from an inner city side wall for truly good local atmosphere and coffee.
3: That chaotic platform on the train station where the call of the chai wallahs can be distinctly heard bringing relief with their clay cups of fragrant sweet chai for sale.
4: That main piazza in the city where theatrical splendour is at it’s finest on a hot summer afternoon.
5: That Gondola for enticing exotic beauty or a romantic interlude.
6: That roaring open fire place that sparks heat in the living room during the thick of winter.
7: That four-wheel-drive that speeds across the vast expanse of the Sahara Desert to protect against the searing heat and merciless winds.

However, while that may very well be the case for that someone The Great Wall of China tops the list amongst the actual 7 new wonders of the world …
